Bramhall Bakery

Just over a year ago Jo (who was a management consultant from Manchester) and her partner Scott (an Australian baker) opened a brand new bakery - the Bramhall Bakery.  I love everything about this business, it's in a stylish new shop:
but the artisan breads are still made in the traditional way, with no added preservatives.

It was a huge problem deciding what to buy, everything looked good.  All the bread is made in the shop:
The Bramhall Bloomer (pictured at the top of this post) is very popular, It's made with Cotswold and Canadian Flours and a combination of seeds and grains including barley, mung beans and linseed.  I love seeded loads, and was spoilt for choice, as there were also multi seed and muesli loaves.
Scot is clearly a talented baker, and does many different specials on different days like Challah plaited loaves, Olive Sourdough and these Ciabatta:
They also do savoury twists and savoury scrolls, like these Cheese and Chutney or Cheese and  Marmite Scrolls:
They also do sweet scrolls in a variety of flavours, my family enjoyed their Sticky Cinnamon Scrolls
Everything I bought (including some very light scones) was perfect.  I just wish every town could have a baker of this standard.
